Redding Police Make the Season Bright for Locals with Operation Blue Santa

Once again, the Redding Police Department will add holiday joy to local residents through their "Operation Blue Santa" program.

OPERATION BLUE SANTA is a non-profit Christmas Program formed in 1991 and sponsored by the Redding Peace Officers’ Association with the support of the Redding Police Department.

The mission of this program is to anonymously provide toys, gifts, and gift cards for holiday meals to families in need. Police explain, "We achieve this goal with the goodwill and generous support of Redding residents and businesses".

Redding Social Services identifies the families who can benefit from the program.

To make a tax-deductible contribution and help locals in need this holiday season, please send a check care of "Blue Santa" to:

*Special recognition will be made for donations of $200 or more.
