Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® Delivers PaddingtonTM to Children at Harmony House in Danbury

Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® (NFCAR) President Adele Unger and Vice President Lynne Boehm presented PaddingtonTM bears “raised” as part of the CT REALTORS® and the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness’s 5th annual be homeful for the holidays' campaign.

This heartwarming campaign provides holiday cheer to the children of the nearly 3,000 people across CT that are homeless on any given night. For every $25 donated, the CT REALTORS® Care Foundation sponsored the gift of a PaddingtonTM bear for a child spending the holidays in a shelter.  The be homeful fund provides emergency assistance that frontline workers can access to help local families remain in their homes rather than enter the shelter system. More than 1,000 Connecticut children and their families have remained housed thanks to be homeful funds.

The Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS®(NFCAR), is the local chapter of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), serving the communities of Bethel, Danbury, Brookfield, New Fairfield Redding and Ridgefield whose members strive every day to improve the quality of life where they live and work.

Helping make sure everyone has a place to call home is what being a REALTOR® is all about!
