Town of Redding COVID-19 Update: Vaccine for Residents 55 and Older, Clinics at RCC

Redding COVID-19 Update 3/1/21

Redding residents 55 and older and educators are now eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. To pre-register a form can be found on the Redding website here. Employer proof will be required of educators. We also ask residents in the 45-54 group to pre-resister so when it’s time we can easily transition from the previous 55+ phase.

Once pre-registered and eligible residents will be contacted to set up an appointment by the Redding Health Department Scheduling Team, either by email or phone. We go down the list systematically in the order that residents have pre-registered. Please be patient and refrain from calling the Redding Health Department.

Redding has been holding clinics at the Redding Community Center. An appointment is required.

We continue to encourage all who are eligible to sign up for all vaccination options available, including registering in VAMS, Stamford Health, Hartford Health Care, Nuvance (Danbury Hospital), Yale New Haven Health, CVS, and Walgreens. They each use their own scheduling system. Many have received appointments at these locations.

A Vaccine Appointment Assist Line can also be called seven days a week 8am-8pm at 877-918-2224.
