CCi Voice Expands Operations Amid Growing Demand for Cloud-Based Service

CCi Voice, a leading, locally owned and operated phone company serving the Northeast, is expanding its tech team to offer companies more cloud-hosted solutions for managing remote workforces. The company is pleased to announce the additions of Matthew Bushmann, an installation and training specialist, and three engineers: John Licari, Chris Benzola and Michael Addotta.

With locations in Redding, Conn., and Holtsville, N.Y., CCi Voice provides service-centered, cloud-based solutions for businesses, schools and nonprofits throughout the New York metropolitan area and Southern New England. The company designs platforms to streamline communications needs by connecting VoIP, video and audio conferencing, contact centers, video surveillance, and the latest new product – cellular repeaters for better indoor cellular reception.

“The work-from-home trend appears likely to continue for some time, which is creating an even greater need for cloud-hosted phone service,” said Michael LeBlanc, president and CEO of CCi Voice. “When the pandemic hit, we were prepared to enable our customers to go remote, seamlessly. Now, we’re scaling up our team of telecommunication specialists to meet an increasing demand for higher-quality connectivity.”

Matthew Bushmann of Coram, N.Y., has joined the company as an installation and training specialist. Among his duties, Bushmann is helping CCi Voice manage its Quality Assurance Department to ensure a stellar experience for customers both during and after new installations. Bushmann comes from a customer service background, having spent many years in the hospitality industry.

Also joining the CCi Voice team are John Licari of Bethel, Conn., and Chris Benzola of Oakdale, N.Y. Licari joins as senior network telephony engineer and Benzola joins as a telephony application engineer.

Licari is a graduate of Fairfield University and has had a long, successful IT career. He is a former partner of CCi Voice as a technology provider for many of its clients, so it is a natural transition for Licari to join the CCi Voice team.

Benzola is a recent graduate of Farmingdale State College on Long Island and comes to CCi with a bachelor’s degree in computer programming. He has utilized his technical training to quickly adapt to the modern communications world and his background in programming provides CCi Voice the ability to expand its offerings by finding ways to integrate with existing systems at client sites.

In addition, Michael Addotta of Patchogue, N.Y., has rejoined the company as senior field service engineer. He has a background in electrical contracting and expanded those skills into telecommunications during a career with a regional cable company. Addotta worked with CCi Voice from 2017 to 2019 and, after a brief tenure with a solar power contractor, came back to continue his path in telecommunications.

“We’re excited to have Matthew, John and Chris join our team, and we’re so pleased to welcome Michael back,” said LeBlanc. “These professionals will help us as we continue to grow our base of customers, enhance our products and services, and expand our footprint in the Northeast.”

The staff additions follow a strong year-end performance for CCi Voice, which has welcomed a number of new clients, bringing to 20,000 the total number of users it supports. 2020 also marked the company’s successful acquisition of Long Island-based Tele-Verse Communications, Inc. The move expanded CCi Voice’s footprint for providing on-site service in the New York metropolitan area and Southern New England, strengthening its product lineup and adding 15 professionals to its roster.

Unlike national VoIP phone services, the CCi Voice-hosted VoIP solution is locally based and supported. The company actively monitors customers’ local Internet quality and staff is available to travel on-site, with Covid safety protocols in place, to ensure clients understand and are able to use the service to better achieve their goals. The company was recognized in 2020 with Sangoma’s Pinnacle Partner Award for the 10th consecutive year. Ranked in the top 10 for North America (hitting the #2 spot for the third time), CCi Voice was honored for its commitment to bring clients the best communications tools tailored to their individual needs.

CCi Voice is headquartered at 38 High Ridge Road in Redding, Conn., with an additional office and warehouse at 730 Blue Point Road in Holtsville, N.Y.
