Ridgefield Independent Film Festival Seeks Volunteers for RIFF 2021

Ridgefield Independent Film Festival, now in its 6th year, is seeking volunteers for the 2021 Festival which will be held October 7-10 in Ridgefield, CT.

Volunteers who work five or more hours will receive an ALL FESTIVAL PASS and a RIFF 2021 T-Shirt. Please fill out this form to apply.

This year’s festival will screen 31 highly curated films from around the world and right here at home. Highlights include: Ridgefield resident, Joanna James’ “A Fine Line” a documentary that explores why less than 7 percent of head chefs/restaurant owners are women, when traditionally women have influenced the greatest male chefs in the kitchen, which will include a catered event in the Keeler Tavern Garden House on October 7th; the Saturday night marquee feature film, “How To Stop A Recurring Dream” wherein a family’s older daughter, faced with a split custody break up, kidnaps her hostile sister to embark on a journey to reconnect before they part - this event includes an after party and cocktails provided by Donna Brooklyn at The Ridgefield Theater Barn; and Psych Night on Friday at The Theater Barn which includes “Koreatown Ghost Story” a horror short featuring comedian Margaret Cho.

Volunteers will be expected to attend an orientation a week prior to the festival at a date, time, and location to be determined. Please note all onsite volunteers must be vaccinated. Come be a part of the best little indie film festival around!
