Southern Yankee Pops Up at 237 Danbury Road in Wilton

Wilton resident, Jennifer Angerame is the visionary and creator of Wilton-based Southern Yankee. With humble beginnings, Angerame launched her businesses nearly twenty years ago as a small card company, operating out her NYC apartment.

Angerame has built Southern Yankee into a brand; one that represents wholesome, trendy, fashionable apparel creatively crafted from vintage linens and other upcycled fabrics.

Now, Angerame’s brand has a new home.

Yesterday, Monday, October 16, Angerame opened a pop-up shop in Wilton. Conveniently located across from Town Hall at 237 Danbury Road (next door to Blue Star Bazaar) Southern Yankee and Monogramming by Southern Yankee is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm daily, or by appointment. “Bring in items you would like personalized,” says Angerame, who will also sell Southern Yankee merchandise and “ready-to-go” gifts.

Southern Yankee is popping up just in time for holiday shopping! Angerame is planning eight weeks for her brick and mortar location, but she could remain open longer.

You are invited to welcome Southern Yankee to the neighborhood on Thursday, October 19 from 10am to noon. Fellow business, blue star bazaar (237 Danbury Road) will host a welcome party, complete with coffee and champagne!
