Redding's Tree Whisperer Wins Award from CT Tree Protective Association

Redding's Les Arbres Tree Service & Fine Gardening is proud to announce that founder and owner Leslie A. Lewis III has been awarded the 2018 Award of Merit by The Connecticut Tree Protective Association (CTPA). The CTPA Award of Merit is presented each year to "The CTPA member who has shown exemplary professionalism and dedication and made outstanding contributions to the care and protection of Connecticut’s trees.”

The award was presented to Les Lewis III by his son, Leslie A. Lewis IV, who nominated him for the award, at the CTPA's Annual Meeting on January 18th, 2018. “I am a very proud son, but also as a business partner I admire my father for all he brings to the table and what he has built,” said Les Lewis IV, “This award is something he never expected but I know he has been deserving of serious recognition for his decades of high caliber work," he said.

Based in Redding and Georgetown, CT, Les Arbres has been in the tree care and gardening business serving Fairfield County for over 45 years. Les Arbres is a family of experts with extensive academic training and decades of experience. With Leslie Lewis III's guiding hand, the firm takes an artistic approach to design that reflects a deep abiding love of trees and plants. They have come to consider themselves “custodians of nature.”

The Connecticut Tree Protective Association has been dedicated to the care of Connecticut’s trees since its founding in 1922. The CTPA promotes the care of trees through meetings, educational events, workshops, and outreach.
