Grandparent and Special Friends Day is one of the most favorite and anticipated traditions at Ridgefield Academy.
Last Tuesday, November 20, approximately 100 visitors arrived on campus to celebrate the day with students. It was a wonderful morning that began with immersing guests in the day-to-day lives of their student through classroom visits and interactive activities. Smiles and laughter filled the hallways as everyone made their way to the gym for the all-school music assembly. Once there, grandparents and special friends were welcomed by Head of School Tom Main and student performances followed.
It was a wonderful day as students were able to share their accomplishments and talents with their visitors and spend quality time together in a place that is their home away from home.
