Redding's Mark Twain Library to Close Friday at Noon

In a note to the community staff at Mark Twain Library announced that they will close tomorrow at noon and remain closed through March 22. 

Please read the note below:

Please note that with the advice of public health officials, Mark Twain Library will close effective noon on Friday, March 13th and remain closed through March 22nd.

The library is open today, Thursday, until 8 pm.

Tomorrow, Friday, March 13th, we will open be open from 10am-noon for “grab and go!” Please come in to pick up your holds, grab a few good books, movies or TV shows or even one of our puzzles. And, don’t forget about our downloadable books, audiobooks, movies and more. We have increased our Hoopla limit, too.

We do have one request in line with the recommendations from health authorities. Please remain home if you do not feel well. This will help us assure that Library staff and your neighbors will stay well.

We will continue to “keep in touch.” In fact, we are planning some virtual surprises. So please check our website and social media pages for alerts.
