Brewing at Ancona’s 

Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Beer

There may be more summer to be had, but Ancona's has turned their focus to fall - Oktoberfest and Pumpkins -  beer that is…  in stock and in all three stores.

Also in all three stores, Ancona’s has a limited supply of Other Half brewing. “Get them while they're hot, if you've never had them before they are truly one of the great innovators of IPA's,” says Ben Marino, Ancona's Beer Specialist.

Nod Hill’s Dabulous Dortmunder

Ancona’s is also rolling out Nod Hill's Dabulous Dortmunder Lager this week. Marino explains, “This is a beer they collaborated with another of our favorite breweries Watson Farmhouse. A somewhat obscure style of beer, the Dortmunder lager can best be described as the perfect cross between a Helles Lager and a Pilsner. We're very excited to get a healthy supply of this beer.”

Omnipollo Brewing Fatamorgana

In Marino’s words “Lastly, I wanted to mention a VERY special beer. I've had past recreations of this beer and every version of it has been superb beyond words. Omnipollo Brewing, who at this point we're able to get very little of, has released their newest version of Fatamorgana.”

Fatamorgana Decuple Dry- Hopped Nelson Sauvin is a Quadruple IPA, sitting at 12% abv, and dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops 10x's. “I literally cannot imagine what that is going to be like but I'm sure it's going to be bonkers,” says Marino.

Marino’s “Honorable Mentions”, in all three stores this week:

  • Alvarium Beer Co dropped a fresh batch of Green Out DIPA

  • Beer'd new pale ale, Kittens & Canoes

  • Kent Falls Sweatpants Pale Ale 

  • Broken Symmetry in Bethel. Enlightened Monk, a Blonde Belgian Ale, and Peach Theory, a peach sour ale.

  • Two Roads and New England have a collaborative Hazy IPA Liquid Cure Age, available in all three stores.

  • Old Nation Boss Tweed is back at our stores.
