The Redding Highway Department Announces Upcoming Roadwork
September 16 – 24
Station Road will be closed to traffic at the new wooden bridge to complete the staining of the bridge and install the wearing surface.
September 25 -26 weekend (Friday evening – Monday AM)
We will also be installing a new surface on the Poverty Hollow bridge which will be closed for the weekend.
September 27 & 28 – Chip Seal
Pinetree, Long Ridge, Guardhouse & Great Pasture Roads
Chip Seal is weather dependent, actual work dates may change
Please be prepared for delays & detours.
Pine Tree & Great Pasture will be closed during the process – detours will be in place.
September 29
Reclaiming of Bayberry and Top Ledge
October 18
Paving of Top Ledge, Bayberry & Simpaug Roads (from Topstone to Ridgefield line – Ridgefield will be paving their part of the road at the same time)
