The popular roadside food truck Zawack Shack, located directly across the street from the Days Inn at 296 Ethan Allen Highway, announced on social media that they are closing temporarily but will still be available for public and private events. The small business on wheels has serves hungry travelers and locals signature burgers, dogs, fries and more.
They state that their abrupt closer is due to a complaint made yesterday to the State of Connecticut regarding their location.
"We are now actively looking for another location while simultaneously fighting to keep our current location. We have worked hard over the past 10 years to build a business we are proud of. This wouldn’t be possible without our amazing customers. We are eternally grateful to each and every one of you. For you are the heart of our business," the Zawack Shack team writes.
