Bottom line-the most powerful, emotionally charged bike event that I've ever participated in. I won't try to put the "WHY" into words. I will say however, if you're a cyclist you should do this event once (the traditional two day ride from Sturbridge to P-Town). I promise you won't regret it. If you're not a cyclist but love a good challenge, you should do this event as well (you have a year to get ready). If you do decide to do the ride next year, reach out to me for advice. I was part of a "team" (Velominati), and the experienced riders helped me prepare logistacally. Priceless for sure. I'm close to hitting my fundraising goal (12k)... and the team is well on its way to reaching their $600,000 goal.
