Redding Residents Can Vote Absentee in August 11 Primary

Apply for an Absentee Ballot for a Primary or Election

The Presidential Preference Primaries of both the Democratic and Republican parties are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, along with primaries for State, District and Municipal Offices.  Absentee ballots will be available in the Town Clerk’s Office starting Tuesday, July 21, 2020.  

Due to the pandemic, the Office of the Secretary of the State will be mailing applications for absentee ballot to all party-enrolled voters.  Anyone who is will be requesting an absentee ballot is encouraged to return the completed application as soon as possible by mail to the Town Clerk, P.O. Box 1028, Redding Center, CT 06875 or in person by dropping it in the front door mail slot at Town Hall .  If you have already filed an application for absentee ballot the town clerk, you do not need to complete another form.  To confirm we have received your application, please email us at townclerk@townofreddingct.org.
