Last week, the Redding Board of Selectmen appointed longtime Department member and former Captain Mark O’Donnell as interim Chief of Redding Police Department.
Redding Police wrote on their Facebook Page, "Congratulations Redding Police Chief Mark O'Donnell! This is a good day for Redding!"
According to the NewsTimes, O’Donnell, 54, joined the Redding Police Department in July of 1985, when it was still a state trooper operation.
