Plane Crash Update: One Victim Identified

According to New York State Police, on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at approximately 10:59 AM numerous 911 calls were made of a small plane that went down in the Atlantic Ocean approximately 1 mile off the beach near Dune Road in the Village of Quogue.

The plane took off from Waterbury-Oxford Airport and made a stop at Danbury Municipal Airport before it crashed.

The New York State Police have reported that the body recovered from the plane crash has been identified as 41 year old Waterbury resident, Munidat Persaud. The deceased was the owner of the plane.

Two more bodies have been recovered, one was an adult female and the second was an adult male. The identity of both victims have not been confirmed, police say.
