Town of Redding COVID Response Update

As of June 17 Connecticut has moved into phase II of reopening the State. Specifics from governor Lamont’s plan can be found HERE.

In addition to expanded restaurant operations now gyms, theatres, and beaches are open as long as they follow required phase II guidelines. Facility operators have the right to implement stricter rules if they see fit. As progress on a defined set of public health metrics is noted then requirements will become less restrictive over time, and safeguards loosened.

If public health metrics deteriorate, then we might need to revert back to stricter measures.

Gatherings

Effective June 17th For indoor private gatherings – 25 people Outdoor gatherings – 100 people Effective mid-July (date to be determined) Indoor private gatherings – 50 people Outdoor private gatherings (including graduations) – 250 people Testing.

The State has released the following list of locations in the Redding area to be tested for COVID19 (click HERE).
