Be Strom Prepared: Tropical Storm Isaias Headed for Redding

Our entire area is now under a Tropical Storm Warning through early Wednesday morning. This afternoon, National Weather Service said, "Make last-minute preparations today before conditions deteriorate Tuesday morning."

According to Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security Twitter (@CTDEMHS) Tropical Storm force winds are expected to arrive a few hours sooner at approximately 3pm Tuesday afternoon. We can expect tropical storm conditions with sustained winds of 45-55 mph and gusts in the 55-65 mph range.

We can expect a high-end moderate impact to trees and power lines.
