Laurel Ridge is looking for "Memory Walkers"

Looking for Memory Walkers – The Alzheimer’s Association recently held its Annual kick-off meeting on July 25th for the Southern Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer’s and are very excited to unveil the details of the walk.  With its mission to raise funds and awareness, the Walk will take place this year on Sunday, September 30, 9 a.m. registration, at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk, CT.

There are many activities planned and it is a lot of fun for the whole family!  There will be a professional Zumba instructor to get everyone warmed up, live music, lots of food and entertainment, and vendor booths specializing in memory or senior care.  There are two routes this year as well – one is about 1 mile long and the other is a more challenging 3 mile walk.  Laurel Ridge Health Care Center, along with its sister communities Maefair Health care Center and Northbridge Health Care Center, is the main food sponsor again for the third year and they are very proud to be part of this event and support this organization.  The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research, and funds raised will go directly toward supporting their efforts.
