“Color Your Holidays”
The Ridgefield Guild of Artists offers its 8th Annual Festive Home, a five-week fundraiser that brings hundreds of shoppers to the charming antique barn-turned-emporium every year. The event runs through Sunday, December 23rd with extended gallery hours, Tuesday – Sunday, 11am-5pm. (Closed November 21 and 22 for Thanksgiving.)
The Gallery Barn has been transformed into the holiday marketplace with the help of area designers: Jeanne Rowella and Lisa Casagrande of The Gilded Nest; Andrea Anderson of Hazel & Sid; Molly Hirsch of Molly Hirsch Interiors; Christy Kinsman of The Little House Shoppe; Robin Curnan and Susan Buzaid of Olley Court; Donna Von Holdt of Tables of Content; Terri Reilly of TR Design; Beth Rosenfield of Beth Rosenfield Design; Maggie Hudson Blau of Hudson Blau Designs of Westport; Lisa Bartro of LB Interiors of Redding; Carol Kurth of Carol Kurth Interiors and Margaret Wilson of Margaret Wilson & Company of Bedford.
With the theme of “Color Your Holidays,” the designers paired up with member artists to contribute their talents and create vibrant home vignettes throughout the barn, serving as an imaginative backdrop for the merchandise.
Items for sale include an eclectic array of unique products, many hand-made by local artisans, ranging from ladies’ accessories and jewelry, hostess and spa gifts, holiday ornaments, along with decorative objects and art for the home.
The Ridgefield Guild of Artists Gallery Barn is located at 34 Halpin Lane in Ridgefield. For more information on this and other guild events or programs, call 203-438-8863, email rgoa@sbcglobal.net or visit rgoa.org.
