The Cutting Board Café and Catering is pleased to announce that not only are they now open seven days a week, they are now serving BREAKFAST ALL DAY. “Our loyal customers have been suggesting for years that we serve breakfast all day, and the time is now,” says owner Brian Bender.
Since opening The Cutting Board Café and Catering five years ago, Culinary Institute of American grad, Brian Bender and his wife, Rachel, have not wavered from their philosophy of using locally grown and natural ingredients whenever possible in their innovative and delicious dishes. Both catering and Café customers have made The Cutting Board a local tradition. Whether it is for Sunday brunch, a light lunch or a catered affair, The Cutting Board consistently pleases.
And they are not resting on their laurels. In addition to serving the most important meal of the day, all day, The Cutting Board has more good news to share. “We are happy to welcome Chef Sarah Calabro to our full time team,” announces Bender. Calabro, who has been catering with The Cutting Board for two years, will now oversee daily operations of the café and work with Executive Chef Brian Bender on the Cutting Board’s off premise catering. “Many of you have already met Sarah at your home or venue, so stop in and say hello and check out our new menu,” suggests Bender.
Together with his wife Rachel, Bender has beautifully woven his business and culinary talent into the Ridgefield community. “We do a lot of community work and try to support as many organizations as possible,” says Bender. The Aldrich Museum, Moms Club, Ridgefield Newcomers, Woodcock Nature Center, ROAR, and Yes2Youth, are just some of the local organizations The Cutting Board works alongside, assuring their events are delightfully flavored.
