Fronted by award winning actor Kevin and highly acclaimed film and television composer Michael, The Bacon Brothers will perform their dynamic lyrics and amazing harmonies in concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, June 2, at 8 p.m. The brothers’ melodies have garnered their own notoriety on the country-folk scene. The Bacon Brothers like nothing better than putting fame aside to deliver an evening brimming with true musical talent and passion. Kevin knows how to rock out on the guitar in a way that will make the audience forget that he is one of the most prolific actors of our time having starred in Mystic River (opposite Sean Penn and Tim Robbins), The River Runs Wild (opposite Meryl Streep), Footloose and many more successful films. Jay's (located in the Crowne Plaza, Danbury) will pour a free glass of house wine or draft beer with dinner the night of the show when tickets/stubs are presented. This event, which is part of the Doyle Coffin Architecture Singer/Songwriter Series, is partially underwritten by Laurel Ridge Health Care Center. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Association.
