What are the benefits of cross-training? How do classes help a person who wants to be healthy and in great shape? Fitness experts and class instructors Mary Gerdes of Redding and Jill Lord of Brookfield (pictured) have the answers that can help everyone attain an optimum level of conditioning and overall health. They teach various classes at Results Personal Training® & Fitness Center in Ridgefield. Summer specials are still available including a complimentary 3-class passes and May thru August unlimited classes & facility use ($199 students/$299 adults).
Jill Lord, a seasoned personal trainer who teaches Spinning, Yoga, Pilates and Total Body Conditioning, and Mary Gerdes, a personal trainer and spin and yoga instructor with more than 19 years’ experience, know how important it is for instructors to have in-depth experience and knowledge to ensure that each class participant work safely and productively. Results offers a variety of classes, which target cardiovascular health, muscle tone and balance, coordination, strength, endurance and even stress reduction. Mary and Jill explain that “It’s all the better when the classes are taught in a super friendly, supportive and highly professional environment like Results. It’s not cookie cutter. The instructors work diligently at creating new and exciting freestyle classes that allow individual attention every client needs and deserves.”
Core strength is something that is top-of-mind in fitness circles these days. “When people focus on building strong arms and legs without paying attention to the core, they lack a solid foundation and are at increased risk of injury. Core strength can be built in any exercise class if you focus on your form. Every instructor at Results has an excellent eye for watching improper form and utilizing cues to bring you into alignment,” comments Jill Lord.
Both instructors agree that a calm, friendly, unhurried and welcoming environment maximizes individualized outcomes. Results classes take place Monday thru Sunday and include SchwinnA.C. "Authentic Cycling" spinning, Body Sculpting, Boot Camp, Kettlebell, Pilates Fusion, 30-30 Split (total body conditioning & core stability), yoga and the very effective TRX Suspension Training.
