Craig's Cares for Ability Beyond Disability

On Thursday, November 17th from 4 pm to 8 pm, Craig's Fine Jewelry will be hosting a fundraiser for Ability Beyond Disability, the fifth in a series of local fundraisers called Craig’s CARES. Along with all of our jewelry, four outstanding jewelry designers, Doves, Color Masters, Meira T and Susan Michel, will be having Trunk Shows with specialty pieces not always found at Craig’s. The Benziger Family Winery will be hosting a wine tasting, and Ancona’s Market will be providing delicious bites.

Ability Beyond Disability is a not for profit organization that was founded in 1953 by a group of parents who wanted a better life for their children with disabilities. Today, they help over 1700 people with disabilities each year to build a better life- providing homes, delivering supports, offering job training and assistance in finding work – and above all teaching every person the skills needed to achieve their dreams.

Ability Beyond Disability will receive 20% of all sales, along with a $2,000 donation from Craig’s. Customers will have the option of donating the 20% directly to Ability Beyond Disability (by check), or Craig’s will make the donation. All sales are final.

Craig’s CARES is a series of fundraisers that Craig’s Fine Jewelry is hosting for several local organizations and national charities.   Each will receive 20% of the evening’s sales, and a donation from Craig’s.  Additionally, Craig’s Cares for Tiger Hollow Stadium will be on Thursday. December 8th.

Previous events, benefiting the Ridgefield Playhouse, the Ridgefield Boys and Girls Club, ROAR and Praxair Cancer Center, raised over $25,000 for these wonderful organizations.

All events are from 4 pm to 8 pm at Craig’s Fine Jewelry, 394 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
