On Friday, May 16, "Women That Rock" aka celebrity models will showcase the Rock and Roll Couture Fashions of designer Lauren DiNardo in her runway show at The Ridgefield Playhouse. This quintessential girls-night-out will support Jane Doe No More, a non-profit organization that helps victims of sexual assault, with special guest speaker Donna Palomba, Founder of Jane Doe No More. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby, there will be food and wine plus X-Rated Fusion Liqueur tastings, The Cake Box custom cupcakes inspired by Lauren DiNardo's designs, fashion items, auction items and more prior to the 7:30 p.m. fashion spectacular and guest speaker. Other highlights are rock & roll make-up tips from Adam Broderick Salon & Spa, massages from Hands That Rock, Pole Fitness with FormFitting Fitness and more. Guest speaker Donna Palomba founded Jane Doe No More, Inc., a non-profit that helps victims of sexual assault, after her experiences with the system as a victim herself. Her story was featured on Dateline NBC, and her book Jane Doe No More (2012) tells the story of her 15-year struggle to find her identity. This event is part of Hamlet Hub's "A Whole New You" Series and is underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon & Spa and FormFitting Fitness of Brookfield, CT., and is partially underwritten by Campari America with media sponsor WPLR 99.1fm/The Fox 95.5fm.
