RHS German Students Honored at Fairfield University

Seventeen Ridgefield High School students were recognized for their stellar performance on the National German Exam at Fairfield University on Friday, May 9. 

Additionally, Patrick McCaughey has been awarded an all-expense-paid summer study trip to Germany.  Patrick was selected as a national winner after scoring in the 90th percentile on the Level 4 2014 National German Exam for High School Students sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG).  This is the 5th consecutive year that a Ridgefield High School German student has been selected for this prestigious study trip award.  Patrick is one of thirty-nine students selected from across the US to receive the award which is made possible through a grant from the Federal Republic of Germany.
