Carnival in Ridgefield is in Full Swing!

It's one of Ridgefield's most fun-filled traditions that kicks off another safe and joy filled summer in Ridgefield. Yes, the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department Annual Carnival has arrived at the grounds of East Ridge Middle School.

HamletHub contributor Alex Fischetti had the honor of attending the opening night of the 3 day carnival extravaganza in Ridgefield. "Everyone was having a ball on their favorite rides including The Pirate Ship, The Ferris Wheel, The Glider and of course the Avalanche among many other fun attractions," said Fischetti. "Concession stands provided almost everything from cotton candy to popcorn to the world famous fried dough," he adds.

If you plan on attending the carnival tonight or tomorrow night, be sure to visit the traditional dunking booth. "You might see the Sphere members sitting in the tank waiting for someone to hit the target," says Fischetti.

Head on over to East Ridge Thursday, Friday and Saturday and go join the fun! For a $22 wristband, you can go on all the rides without a single ticket!
