Drink Pink Think Pink Welcomes Dr. Valerie Stardub to the 5th Annual Event

Live music, cocktails, nibbles, and the color pink will be the backdrop for the 5th Annual Drink Pink Think Pink, a special evening of friendship and camaraderie that supports Danbury Hospital Breast Cancer Program and Ann’s Place - two local nonprofit organizations that help cancer victims, survivors and their caregivers.

We are excited to welcome the Medical Director of Danbury Hospital’s Breast Cancer Program, Dr. Valerie Staradub, to this year’s 5th Annual Drink Pink Think Pink event on Wednesday, October 15 from 6 to 8pm at Sarah’s Wine Bar.

Dr. Staradub, whose mission is to lead a breast care program where the patients' needs come first, will speak with attendees about new technology that is available for breast cancer screening and brand new surgical procedures. She is happy to answer any questions that people may have.

"It's the way we would want our families to be treated, so we are offering easy, seamless care with excellent follow-up and compassionate care from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship." Dr. Staradub said.

Dr. Staradub joined Danbury Office of Physician Services (DOPS) in 2010, hailing from Boston where she was a staff surgeon at Harvard University's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

There will be a $15 admittance charge and each attendee will receive one pink ticket, good for a pink drink.

Music will be provided by Redding resident, Kelly Mittleman and Kristen Jensen will display her powerful photographic collection, "Faces of Courage" an absolutely beautiful anthology of pictures that tell a story of strength, courage and hope.

For more information about Dr. Staradub or the comprehensive breast care program please call (203)-739-7040.
