Allyson Ehrlickman, a senior at Ridgefield High School (RHS), has been selected as one of 3 female soloists on the U.S Tap Team. She will compete in the adult division of the International Dance Organization's Tap Competition in Reisa, Germany in December. In the previous competitions, Allyson's trio won the Gold medal in 2011, and her solo placed sixth in 2010.
Allyson is a co-captain of the RHS dance team. She began dancing at age 4 and now trains under the direction of Nicole Aravena at Seven Star School of Performing Arts in Brewster, NY. Allyson plans to major in finance/business in college, but hopes to perform on her college's dance team.
