Cycling for Ridgefield mom diagnosed with brain tumor at JoyRide

"enJOY Life" Fundraiser at JoyRide Ridgefield raises over $22K

Yesterday was a celebration of health, happiness and life at JoyRide Ridgefield.

Nearly 120 people gathered over the course of the afternoon to attend three indoor cycling classes to benefit the American Brain Tumor Association on behalf of Ridgefield mom Andrea Lyons who was recently diagnosed with glioma brain tumors.

Riders' contributions were matched dollar for dollar by Pepsico raising over $22,000 - a record high for any single event at JoyRide Ridgefield. "I am completely overwhelmed by the love and outpouring of support," said Ms. Lyons, "and I'm so proud to have helped raise money for the American Brain Tumor Association through this fundraiser, I'm humbled by the Ridgefield community and our ability to support one another and I couldn't have imagined a better day."
