Popular New Canaan Clothing Shop Redefines Online Shopping with Styledot.com

Local business DOROTHY MANN  thanks New Canaan for 10 years in business with a 10 Year celebration and launch of their new “www.styledot.com” styling service

“Dorothy Mann” the women’s clothing store on Elm Street in New Canaan, CT would like to thank her long time customers and friends who have supported her local business for 10 years.  Local businesses have found it very difficult to stay afloat these last few years as the retail environment has drastically changed. Mann attributes her success to her loyal customers and to the service she gives to her clients.  The townspeople want small businesses to survive and have promoted the “shop local” campaign.  Mann believes local residents truly want to shop local but are at a loss for time and sometimes have to submit to the convenience of the internet.

In response to the needs and time constraints of todays women, Mann has created an online personal styling service “styledot.com” that records the customer’s needs and purchases and supplies an online suggestion to “what to wear”. “If women are finding it difficult to get into town to shop local, we will send the merchandise from their local store to them.”   

Dorothy Mann will be hosting a 10 year celebration party at the store 78 Elm Street in New Canaan on Wednesday June 24th 6-9pm.  Store merchandise will be 25% off for the entire day. All are invited to come to celebrate and learn more about the new “styledot.com” model.
