The future of the Ridgefield Visiting Nurses Association (RVNA) is built on solid ground.
Hundreds of Ridgefield residents and RVNA supporters gathered at Rolling Hills Country Club last night for the RVNA annual Autumn Dinner.
RVNA Chair of Board of Directors, Mary Jones opened the evening by saying, “Tonight, we celebrate you because we’re 101!”
The cabinet of RVNA’s Campaign for Tomorrow comprised of Eileen Walker, Chair, Larry Bossidy, Honorary Chair, Steven Goldstone, Mary M. Jones, Sue Manning, Paul S. McNamara, Tom Reynolds, Jeff Ryer, Harold Spratt, Jay Walker, Bill Wyman, and Michael Ryer, Chair in Memoriam were honored for enabling the RVNA to surge strongly into the future.
In a few short months the RVNA will open their doors to a brand new home on Governor Street and continue to fulfill their mission of providing exceptional home and community health care services, supporting public health and safety, and promoting the highest quality of life in Western Connecticut.
Eileen Walker addressed each member of the cabinet. “I have thoughts for each of member of our Board." Speaking of Larry Bossidy she said, “Our general. Everyone sat up a little straighter in their chair when Larry walked into the room. He never took his eyes off the ball.”
Theresa Santoro, President and CEO of RVNA expressed sincere gratitude to all present. “This evening would not be possible without your support and recognition of RVNA, its services, and value to our community.”
A surf and turf dinner and Echoes of Sinatra gave attendees even more to celebrate.
Thank you to Joyce Ligi and Hildi Glicklich, co-chairs of this year’s Autumn Dinner and to RVNA Director of Philanthropy, MJ Heller - You all did a great job!
