UPDATE: 1:10 pm Power has been restored to all but 2 Ridgefield Eversource customers.

A downed tree on wires caused two brush fire on both sides of Ledges Road. We spoke with the Ridgefield Fire Department and they are currently on the scene. According to the Fire Department, Ledges Road will be closed until this situation is under control.
Eversource reports that 474 customers in the vicinity of the incident are without power at this time.
Eversource is currently on scene.
