A unique Farm Shop is opening at Henny Penny Farm just for the holidays. This teaching farm models various aspects of self-sufficiency for kids and grownups alike. It's a fun place to visit and see the chickens, turkeys, llama, sheep and goats and how they all work together to maintain the land and more.
Sited on Ridgebury Rd it's easy to just pop in during the daily errands and escape from the hustle and bustle for a moment. The farm shop will be selling great gift items such as fiber-crafting kits from their award-winning sheep, their pasture-raised lamb and more.
Shop hours are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9am-11am starting December 7, or by appointment. For more information on the farm click here.
