
Are you an aspiring babysitter? Would you like to gain confidence and learn important skills necessary for taking care of young children? Join April Rodriquez, RVNA Community Health & Wellness Nurse for this important Red Cross babysitting course designed for youth ages 11 & older. Participants will develop leadership skills; learn how to build a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; help children behave, and learn basic child-care. Each participant will earn a Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Certificate.
This 3-part course will be held on January 3rd, 4th and 5th from 3-5:30pm at RVNA, 27 Governor Street in Ridgefield. The fee is $90. (Babysitter’s manual is an additional $10 for those interested.) Space is limited to 10 students. To register, please call RVNA at 203-438-5555.
About The Speaker
April Rodriguez, RN received a BA from University of Connecticut and an ADN from Norwalk Community College. Her background includes working in dermatology, general surgery, and long-term care. She is currently Community Health & Wellness RN at RVNA.
