Congratulations to Ridgefield Little League for winning the Weston American Little League 2017 Memorial Day Tournament 8U Division Championship on Monday night, June 5.
Tom Rotunno explains, "Ridgefield won the first game 10-4 vs. Weston, the second game 3-2 vs. Westport and the Championship game last Monday night against Weston 7-6."
There was a slight rain delay in the Tournament, which was planned to span the Memorial Day weekend. The first two games of the Tournament were played on Saturday, May 27, but nasty weather on Memorial Day postponed the Championship games until Monday, June 5.
