Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT is presently hosting Battle of the Bands live at the Atrium Lounge.
Ridgefield High School grad and local musician, James Zap in among the talented performers who took the stage today. We are proud to report that Zap was the winner of Battle of the Bands, Round #1!
"He went up against a 4-piece band called Cometa and won, despite being a one-man show. He was great!" reported friend & fan, Gabrielle Bouissou.
Zap will battle it out in Round #2 on August 16. The event is free to attend.
Throughout the summer 20 bands will battle for the chance to be the grand prize winner of $10,000 determined by judges rating bands’ Musical Presentation, Stage Presence, Audience Response and Originality.
Battle of the Bands Final Play Off will take place on Saturday, August 26.
