Jeanne Marie Mastandrea, 61, of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2018 after a courageous two and a half year battle against pancreatic cancer. She was the loving wife of Mr. Louis Mastandrea.
Jeanne was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 14, 1956 and was the devoted daughter of the late Elizabeth (Bourke) Kaufmann. Jeanne was a graduate of St. John’s Villa Academy high school in Staten Island and of Baruch College, where she made life-long memories and friends. Her career in marketing and statistics spanned positions at Ziff Davis Publishing, Xerox Corporation, Golf Digest Magazine, and as an independent consultant. Still, the roles she cherished most were that of wife and mother.
A resident of Ridgefield for the past 25 years, Jeanne was an active volunteer in Ridgefield Public Schools and was the Past President of the National Charity League, Ridgefield Chapter. Jeanne loved traveling, gardening, photography, and animals big and small. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church of Ridgefield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 10:15 AM at St. Mary's Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery; 110 North Street, Ridgefield. Friends will be received on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield.
