Robin: The Ultimate Robin Williams Tribute Experience Comes to The Ridgefield Playhouse on September 14

Don’t miss an amazing night celebrating the comedic genius of the late great Robin Williams, starring master impressionist Roger Kabler as Robin, featuring Marc Price (Skippy from “Family Ties”) and hosted by comedian Mike Bova! Robin Williams was arguably the greatest comedian of our generation. This show goes to great lengths to respect Robin’s memory and celebrate his legacy. Hilarious and emotionally powerful at the same time, this tribute offers a form of closure, and a chance to laugh with Robin Williams one last time.

See Robin: The Ultimate Robin Williams Tribute Experience at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, September 14, part of Barts Tree Service Comedy Series. Media partner for this event isi95, The Home of Rock n’ Roll.

Roger Kabler is a true renaissance man. Along with being one of the finest comedy impressionists in the country, he is a talented actor and portrait artist. He served as the Zima spokesman in national television commercials. He was a regular on the last Carol Burnett series in 1991. Roger also starred in his own NBC sit-com “Rhythm and Blues.”  He wrote, produced and starred in the award-winning movie Who the Hell is Bobby Roos?, and has recently played to sold-out Las Vegas showrooms. Variety Magazine calls him “an astounding impressionist”.

Loved by millions as Skippy from the hugely popular 1980s sitcom “Family Ties” starring Michael J. Fox, Marc Price has been practicing his stand up on shows like “Last Comic Standing” and in clubs for years now. The Los Angeles Times calls him “refreshingly bright” and the Boston Globe says he’s “wickedly funny.”  As a stand-up comedian, Marc has opened for Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld. He’s starred in movies, hosted late night talk shows and more recently he’s been behind the cameras writing and producing for E!, TBS, Disney Channel, Animal Planet, GSN, Showtime and more.

Mike Bova is a nationally touring headline comedian. Mike won the Upper New York State Independent Award for top comedian in 2012 and 2013. His show is very unique, highly entertaining and most of all hilarious. Mike’s bits are cleverly funny and he’s been called mini Jerry Seinfeld on many occasions.

The comedic genius of Robin Williams was brought to a close when he took his own life in 2014. His widow revealed he suffered from both Parkinson’s disease and Lewy body dementia (a type of dementia which causes hallucinations) which had become debilitating in the months before his suicide.
