Ridgefield Guild of Artists is pleased to present Art Walk 2018 when the streets of Ridgefield become a strolling gallery. Fifty-two artists will display their works in local downtown stores and The Marketplace at Copps Hill Common.
Opening weekend festivities begin tonight with receptions at downtown venues. Members of the high school jazz band will perform on the Library lawn. The Guild will have an information table "near" Town Hall at the corner of Bailey Avenue next to Books on the Common (since the front of Town Hall is blocked off with construction).
The festivities continue Saturday, August 25th with many of the artists demonstrating their talents in front of their venues. Walk on Down, the companion exhibit at Ridgefield Guild of Artists, will open Saturday, from 12-4pm with a reception from 4-6pm. Each Art walk artist will have a piece in the exhibition. This exhibition runs through Friday, September 7th. Art Walk continues through Saturday, September 8th. The Guild is located at 34 Halpin Lane. Regular gallery hours are Wed-Sun, 12-4pm.
