Former Ridgefield Town Hall Employee, Marjorie J. Goral, 89, has Died

Marjorie J. Goral, 89, of Ridgefield, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late George Goral Sr.

Mrs. Goral was born in Hawthorne, NJ on August 5, 1929; a daughter of the late Ralph Charles Muzzio and Edythe Huyler (Price) Muzzio. A talented artist, Mrs. Goral studied fashion illustration and was a staff artist for McCalls magazine. 
 
A resident of Ridgefield for the past 54 years, Mrs. Goral retired from Boehringer Ingelheim and later worked as a receptionist at Ridgefield Town Hall. She enjoyed knitting, reading, big band music, painting and taking art classes. Mrs. Goral was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church of Ridgefield. She supported a number of causes including The Wounded Warrior Project and animal welfare groups.
 
Mrs. Goral is survived by her 4 children: George Goral Jr. and his wife, Linda; Ginny McKinstry and her husband, Michael; Tim Goral and his wife, Tracey; and David Goral and his wife, Sung. Mrs. Goral is also survived by 7 grandchildren. Mrs. Goral was predeceased by her parents and her husband, George Goral Sr.
 
The family would like to thank Jennifer, Mrs. Goral’s caregiver, for all she has done.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield. There will be no calling hours.
