Ridgefield Community Kindergarten (RCK) Preschool's creative and interactive Mr. Potato Head scarecrow was the winner of both the Main Street ballot vote and the Facebook vote in Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center's (KTM&HC) 6th Annual Scarecrow Contest, held October 19 – 31.
The Facebook voting had a record number votes this year, with the winning scarecrow receiving over 400 "Likes." The Facebook runner-up, Dr. Blaine Langberg (the 2017 Facebook vote winner) came in a close second, at times leading the vote during the two-week contest, and closing the gap by nearly 30 votes in the final few hours.
KTM&HC thanks all the participants in its 6th Annual Scarecrow Contest for their creative and fun scarecrows.
