Three car accidents took place yesterday; two on Ethan Allen Highway (Rt 7) and one on Branchville Road.

A two car motor vehicle accident took place on Branchville Road causing injuries to the operators of both vehicles. They were transported to Danbury Hospital Emergency Room for non-life-threatening injuries. The accident is under investigation.

Ridgefield Police and Fire responded to a three car motor vehicle accident on Ethan Allen Highway- just north of Branchville Road. All three cars were severely damaged. The operator of one vehicle was taken to Danbury Hospital for evaluation. The accident is under investigation.
A two car motor vehicle accident took place on Ethan Allen Highway (Rt 7) near #135. It was reported that vehicle two struck vehicle one which was stopped for traffic. The operator of vehicle one was transported to Danbury Hospital by Ridgefield Fire Department. The operator of vehicle 2 was issued an infraction for following too close.
