Ridgefield Resident Emily Haughney Celebrates Five Years at The Prospector Theater, "I've Learned and Grown So Much"

Congratulations and happy Prospector Theater work anniversary to Ridgefield resident Emily Haughney who today celebrates five years of employment as a Prospect at the nonprofit theater.

"Happy 5 year anniversary of me being hired full time at the Prospector. I am so blessed for all my coworkers. I am glad to have a job! I have learned and grown so much in my 5 years," Haughney wrote on Facebook.

Founder Val Jensen had the vision and is the powerhouse behind the theater which opened with cheers and sparkle on November 20, 2014. Since then, the Theater has earned national acclaim and has employed more than 250 Prospects who have logging over 600,000 hours of work in a wide range of capacities. A sister Prospector Theater is set to open in Wilton soon.

"I never thought I would have a full-time job but with working hard and determination you can do anything you set your mind to. Thank you to my boss Brad for giving me the opportunity to go full time and always believing in me. And I also want to thank my mom Debbie and my dad for supporting my decision to go full time!" said Haughney.
