Bailey Ave shop to close this Sunday after 22 years

Bailey Ave's go-to gift shop Turkey Ridge is closing after 22 years.  Owner Nadine Dolhy says she is "semi-retiring".

What does "semi" mean? Well, her customers love her products, they come from near and far, and Nadine says that she may "reemerge at some point". "I'm not leaving town, I live in Ridgefield," she said.

If you want to say goodbye or shop, hurry! The store is closing this Sunday, January 31 at 6pm. "That's my final swan song," said Nadine. Turkey Ridge is open today until 7 and tomorrow and Saturday 11am to 7pm.

But, don't look for Turkey Ridge on the web. "These are not products you can shop for online," Nadine said.

"Turkey Ridge has been a staple for locals looking for a unique and Ridgefield-ish hostess or special occasion gift and has featured a wide array of items for the equestrian lover.

You can visit Turkey Ridge online here or visit them at 1 Bailey Ave.

Thank you, Nadine, for bringing good things to Ridgefield. We look forward to your reemergence!
