Springtide Child Development Center Opens in Ridgefield, Offers Autism Care for Children

Springtide Child Development Center is pleased to announce the opening of its second facility in Ridgefield, Connecticut.  The Ridgefield location joins the Trumbull location which opened in March of 2020.  Springtide focuses on autism treatment through a progressive approach involving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Occupational and Speech Therapy all in a single facility with a coordinated team of practitioners.

Springtide welcomes families with a comprehensive approach. The therapists start with an evaluation and walk hand in hand with families through the process including interfacing with insurance companies.   In addition to ABA therapy, Occupational and Speech therapy, Springtide also caters to more specific needs such as language acquisition, social skills, school readiness, and functional living skills.

The company’s foundation is led by a progressive, child and family-first strategy.  Each center is designed with a theme and utilizes bright colors.  The Ridgefield Center has an ocean theme with rooms named for marine animals such as beluga, octopus, and barnacle.  Therapy rooms include flexible seating like bean bag chairs, couches, traditional desks and floor space so children remain engaged and can find a space that is optimal for learning.  Rooms are designed with elements that mimic home and school settings to familiarize kids with a variety of spaces to assist in transitions.  There are both indoor and outdoor playgrounds at centers to further extend the therapy to school and home settings.  The hallways at each center are decorated with framed artwork to highlight kids creativity and again mimic a traditional school setting.  Springtide is committed to providing each family one-on-one attention to set them up for success.

“There are few parental pressures more staggering than trying to coordinate schedules, insurance and proper care for a child diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder),” commented Jia Jia Ye, Co-Founder and CEO, Springtide.  “The demand for qualified care for ASD outgrew the supply. Critical to success is one-on-one in person treatment where practitioners can work together to develop a plan, share insights and pivot with the individual child and family’s developing needs.  This format is critical to our mission of treatment at Springtide.”

Springtide Child Development offers modern clinical care to children with autism.  Springtide’s mission is to empower children to reach their full potential.  Personalized, holistic treatment plans are tailored to children 2-18 years old with autism. An interdisciplinary team of caring specialists coordinate daily to track progress and help families and children succeed.  Springtide offers comprehensive treatment options at each clinic including Applied Behavioral Analysis, Speech therapy, occupational therapy, language acquisition, social skills, school readiness, and functional living skills.  Springtide has clinics in Trumbull, CT and Ridgefield, CT.
