We have a winner! Pete the Cat, created by Ridgefield Community Kindergarten and also known as Scarecrow #10, received the most votes on Facebook and has been crowned the winner of Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center’s 9th Annual Scarecrow Contest.
Congratulations to Pete and his talented creators – you clearly have lots of fans! As the winner, Ridgefield Community Kindergarten will receive a Downtown Ridgefield gift certificate.
Thank you to all the businesses, nonprofits, and families who participated this year, and to the hard-working volunteers who made the competition possible. Over the last two weeks, the scarecrows in KTM&HC’s contest collectively racked up hundreds of votes online while putting smiles on the faces of passersby on Ridgefield’s Main Street. We’re so impressed with the creativity and skill demonstrated in this year’s competition, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s entries!
