Thank you to the members of Ridgefield Police Department for protecting and serving our community!

Today, Sunday, January 9 is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (L.E.A.D.) and we would like to thank the amazing men and women of the Ridgefield Police Department who are on the front lines protecting the residents of the community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In addition to being the first responders during emergencies, members of our local law enforcement visit our schools to teach about safety, host an annual Halloween Party and Safety Day, conduct child car-seat clinics, participate in an annual Wiffle ball tournament with the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield, and so much more! They are truly part of the fabric of this great town (just look at the photo of Chief Jeff Kreitz having fun with a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield!)

Thank you today and every day to those who have dedicated their lives to protecting and serving their communities.
