With the temperatures in the high 50s on Saturday and locals strolling down Main Street and sitting on park benches, many are asking, "Where is the hot dog stand?"
Our quintessential downtown Ridgefield is not complete without "the hot dog man" aka, Mike Principi. For the past few weeks, the Chez Lenard sidewalk cafe has not been set up in its rightful spot.
Principi told us, "I'm closed for a few weeks and will be back in March. I utilize this time to be with my family and take care of maintenance on the hot dog carts." he added, "Spring is around the corner!"
Thumbs up for that, Mike! Thanks for being part of the fabric of downtown Ridgefield! Enjoy a deserved rest and we will see you in a few weeks!
