Did you catch Ridgefield's own Tony Award-winner actor and playwright Harvey Fierstein being interviewed by Rita Braver today on CBS Sunday Morning?
Fierstein and his big dog Charlie are seen walking the sidewalks in Downtown Ridgefield chatting with Braver before settling inside Ridgefield Library where Braver talks with Fierstein about his New York Times best-selling memoir, "I Was Better Last Night" [available at Books on the Common].
The segment concludes at Southwest Cafe. Braver says, "The Broadway hotshot is happiest here in Ridgefield greeting pals like the owner of his favorite restaurant." Fierstein is seen hugging Barb Nevins before walking into the restaurant.
On Tuesday, March 15, you can catch Fierstein in conversation with fellow Ridgefielder and New Yorker cartoonist, Roz Chast at The Ridgefield Playhouse.
